# The Zaman Family's Newborn and Family Photoshoot

Every family I photograph comes with a special story to be told with them—moments of joy, tenderness, and connection. Recently, it was a privilege to host the Zaman family in our Glasgow Family Photography studio. The process of taking their photographs was a bundle of smiles, hugs, and memories of love within the family.
**Meet the Zaman Family**
The Zaman family is a sweet family with lots of love and sweetness. Proud father Abbas and loving mother Luvleen have their little tot daughter Aya (22 months) and their new baby boy Luay (just two weeks old). Little Aya's love for her baby brother was evident at their very first visit. She lovingly calls her brother "baba" and showers him with kisses and hugs. It was a pleasure seeing such a brother and sister relationship.
**Capturing Moments of Love**
My favourite photo of their session is a black and white family portrait. The Zaman family embrace each other in a warm group hug in the picture, their faces flushed with love. Abbas holds baby Luay close in his arms while Luvleen snuggles in beside him, beaming with pride. Adorable little Aya hugs her dad, her eyes shining with warmth and curiosity. This close-up picture tells a compelling story—one of family closeness, security, and unlimited love.

**A Peaceful Moment for Baby Luay**
Newborn photography is all about capturing those moments of peace, and baby Luay gave us just that. One of my personal favorites captures Luay peacefully asleep in a wicker basket, covered with a soft blanket. His serene face, combined with the warm ambience, made this photograph stand out. Newborns develop so rapidly, and these peaceful moments remind us of how special those first few weeks really are.

**Aya's Sweet Stroller Moment**
Aya swiped the spotlight in her own endearing portrait. Standing tall alongside a decorative wicker stroller full of white flowers, she exuded grace and happiness. Her dainty white dress and soft smile gave her the appearance of being in a fairy tale. The soft peach background gave the photo a warm, soft touch, adding to the serene, happy mood of the moment.

**A Cozy Family Portrait**
The other highlight from the shoot is a cozy family portrait against a black background. Abbas and Luvleen sit together, baby Luay cosily nestled between them. Aya stood proudly alongside her mum, holding her hand tenderly. The deep, dark background made their bright smiles and warm faces stand out, which made this picture feel rich and classic.

**Dreamland on a Crescent Moon**
Baby Luay was also the centre of a dreamy night scene setup. Wrapped in a deep blue blanket, he rested contentedly on a yellow crescent moon prop against a background of stars. This enchanted setup gave an atmosphere of serenity and awe—like he was dreaming contentedly among the stars. The restful hues of deep blue and golden yellow made a warm, peaceful picture that his parents loved.

**A Family Portrait**
For a more relaxed family portrait, we selected a light tan background adorned with soft leaves and round designs. Wearing comfortable, neutral-colored attire, the Zaman family sat comfortably, exuding ease and happiness. The comfortable setting enabled their true selves to shine through, and the overall atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of love.

**Teddy Bear Dreams**
My favorite solo portrait of Aya is of her sitting sweetly among a group of teddy bears. She was wearing a white button-down dress and had two fluffy bears pressed against her chest. Her smile illuminated the space, and the wooden background, complete with a warm window scene, provided a charming element. This innocent, playful moment caught her youthful spirit perfectly.

**A Sister's Tender Kiss**
Probably the most endearing moment of all was when Aya leaned in to plant a sweet kiss on her baby brother. With baby Luay snugly wrapped on a little white sofa, Aya stood by his side in her white dress, her tender kiss beautifully captured in full detail. This photograph exudes tenderness and love, demonstrating the sweet connection these siblings enjoy.

**Final Thoughts**
The Zaman family's photoshoot was a reminder of why I love what I do. Preserving these precious moments—whether it's a proud sibling's kiss, a parent's proud smile, or a newborn's peaceful sleep—is a privilege. Each photo tells a story that families will treasure for years to come.
